Welcome to the winter doldrums, folks.  I look forward to my winter break every year, and at about day seven, I am a total wreck.  I need a little structure.  I like sleeping in, as much as the next person, but my level of productivity is waning, and I have some weird guilt about doing nothing.  I can’t even enjoy when I am veggin’ out.  Welcome to my neurotic world!

But the days are getting longer, and I resolve to use that extra minute or two of daylight to get some writing done.

Around Casa Anderson, son number one got a Kindle Paperwhite for Christmas and has already burned through the entire Divergent series.  The much-debated third book didn’t seem to phase him.  He reads so quickly.

I write so slowly…but I’m working on it.

Stay tuned for a possible giveaway in February, courtesy of one my fave review blogs. I will keep you posted!

In the meantime, let’s all keep on keeping on, in the hopes that we can chase those winter blues away.

I can definitely identify with writing slowly. Waah! I haven’t read the third Allegiant yet and I’m scahred based on all the negative reviews. Have you seen Catching Fire? I enjoyed it and I’m hoping they change the ending of Mockingjay because the book disappointed me.

Here’s to enjoying your last days of break! Productivity isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. 🙂

Jennifer, always brimming with calm wisdom. I need to find the balance between cutting myself some slack and being a total slacker. 😉

I am behind on Hunger Games — have to read book 2 before I see the movie. Sigh. Someday, someday… 🙂
